Published by START and the Institutes of Economics and Peace, the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) was launched on Dec. 5 with analysis of data trends from START's Global Terrorism Database (GTD). The study scores 158 countries, tracks changing trends in terrorism overtime, and also explores significant correlations with other socio-economic indicators.
