Documentary Screening: "Skinhead"

On Monday, Mar. 26 from 3:00 to 4:15 pm, START Headquarters will have a screening of the documentary "Skinhead," followed by a question and answer session with one of the main interviewees in the film, Brad Galloway. This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated.

Bradley J. Galloway is currently a 4th year undergraduate student in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). Brad currently works with the Organization for Prevention of Violence (OPV), as a research and intervention specialist, and is the Regional Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest district for the Against Violent Extremism Network (AVE). His current research interests include: youth recruitment in the right-wing extremist movement, and the network structure of right-wing extremist groups both on- and offline. In addition, he spent close to 13 years in the far-right movement in Canada, which gives him further perspectives surrounding education and possible prevention methods when dealing with right wing extremism.
