This case study is a part of the larger research initiative titled “Climate Security, Great Power Competition, and Adversarial Geopolitics in North and West Africa.” This study explores the intersection of climate change, security, and governance through the lens of the escalating farmer-herder conflict in North and West Africa. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of the causes, consequences, and potential responses to these disputes, situating them within broader geopolitical and environmental contexts.
