On April 11, Founding Director of the ICONS Project Jonathan Wilkenfeld presented a lecture on his new book Research Handbook on Mediating International Crises,” at START Headquarters.

Edited by Wilkenfeld, Kyle Beardsley and David Quinn, the book aims to capture the complexity and intricacy of mediation in contemporary conflicts by presenting the leading expert opinions on international mediation, and examining how international mediation practices, mechanisms and institutions should adapt to the changing characteristics of international crises.
