"START is a multifaceted organization and that gives us tremendous strength even when negotiating fiscal cliffs and looming sequesters," said Bill Braniff, START's executive director.
"Our extended research network is a key strength, but our research team at the University of Maryland has matured alongside of that network. We are currently hosting 80 undergraduate and graduate interns working in a new, integrated workspace that allows for new levels of collaboration among our research staff and administrators. The new workspace reflects both a dynamic and a mature organization, and we're excited about both."
