START will be offering internship stipends for the foreseeable future, beginning in the summer 2022 semester. Students will receive $3,000 for summer semesters, and $2,250 for fall and spring semesters.
“This is an outstanding opportunity for our students,” START Experiential Education Specialist Eva Coll said.
START has held its internship program for more than 10 years, offering programs every fall, spring and summer semester. During the pandemic, the program shifted to a remote format, and will likely continue to be remote for the summer 2022 semester.
“It was difficult to navigate the challenges of moving from a fully unpaid to a fully paid program, but we are grateful for the opportunity,” START Director William Braniff said.
