The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) invites you to a session on WORKING WITH THE GLOBAL TERRORISM DATABASE.
his session will introduce the Global Terrorism Database (GTD) web interface, through which users can access detailed information regarding more than 80,000 terrorist incidents that have occurred around the world between 1970 and 2004. Presenters will discuss how the data for the GTD were collected and will demonstrate how the data can be used to help identify and explain trends in domestic and international terrorism.
