On Wednesday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m. ET, Refinitiv World-Check Senior Research Analyst Liza Layer will provide a virtual talk on “Tracking Emerging Threats and Risk Networks in Eurasia.” This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are required. This discussion will explore understanding sanctions networks and emerging threats posed by extremists active in Eurasia. The conversation will provide insights into her investigative work on sanctioned actors and their associates, and the process of tracking terrorists cells operating in Europe.

Liza Layer is a Senior Research Analyst for Refinitiv. Her focus areas include terrorism in Russia and Tajikistan, and sanctions related content. In the past, she has worked with Transparency International-Russia and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She holds a BA in International Studies from American University.
