The START Seminar Series proudly presents Marc Sageman Ph.D. and his lecture, "Understanding Global Terrorists: The Case of the Salafi Jihad." He will speak on March 14, 2006 at 2:30pm in the Nanticoke Room of the Stamp Student Union on the University of Maryland- College Park campus. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. All are welcome to attend. Sageman is a graduate of Harvard University, with a M.A., M.D., and Ph.D. all from New York University. His expertise lies in forensic psychiatry, psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy, problems of intercultural adaptation, ethno-political conflict, terrorism, and psychology of trauma and perpetrators. He is the author of "Understanding Terror Networks."
