On Thursday, June 16th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Jesse Spiro and Elvis Asiamah from Thomson Reuters will give a lecture at START HQ on the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) sphere of terrorism and organized crime research. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated.
Jesse Spiro is the regional head of terrorism and insurgency research (MENA, Europe, Americas) for Thomson Reuters World-Check®, specializing in threat finance and global security. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
Elvis Asiamah is a research analyst (Sub-Saharan Africa terrorism and insurgency) for Thomson Reuters World-Check®. Previously he worked as a research assistant at START and received his MSc in Security Studies from University College London.
