START will host the second of two information sessions about applying for UMD's minor program in Global Terrorism on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in Tydings Hall, room 1114.
Currently recruiting its tenth cohort, the Global Terrorism minor is a cross-disciplinary program housed by the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) at the University of Maryland. Students in the minor program learn about terrorism behaviors and responses to terrorism through the required curriculum, in addition to completing an internship or research project in the field of terrorism studies. The 17-credit program is open to undergraduate students with a strong academic record (3.0 GPA preferred) and at least 30 academic credits under their belt.
