Room 1224, Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center, UMD
On Friday, Mar. 9 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm START, the UMD Global Sustainability Initiative, and the UMD Office of Sustainability will co-sponsor a screening of the film The Age of Consequences in Room 1224 of the Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center. This documentary focuses on the intersection between climate change, global stability, resource scarcity, migration, and national security. Following the screening, we will convene an expert panel of leading campus scholars with unique insight on the growing national security crises created by climate change and its impacts. This event is free and open to the public.
