On Friday, February 12, at 12:00 pm, Lee Wilkinson, partner at the NCTC and lead MITRE Liaison to the University of Maryland, will give a lecture at START headquarters on the topic of countering violent extremism. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP's are appreciated.
Lee A. Wilkinson, MBA, PMP supports the U.S. Government’s efforts to counter violent extremism (CVE). In this role, he coordinates and integrates CVE efforts with the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) as well as other departments and agencies to implement the White House strategy and implementation plan Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States. Lee earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University in 2001 and earned his Project Management Professional certification in 2011.
