Incident Summary:

12/29/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting a convoy of hunters recruited by the Nigerian army to help with security in Kayamla, Borno, Nigeria. The blast caused a tire blowout and assailants opened fire on the hunters as they attempted to fix the damage. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two related attacks near Kayamla on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
