12/26/2020: Assailants attacked Khiributu Debiro, Hawul district, Borno, Nigeria. This was one of four coordinated attacks on villages in Borno on the same day. At least 10 people were killed and six were injured across the attacks. The Al-Barnawi faction (Islamic State West Africa Province-ISWAP) of Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the incidents and stated that the attacks targeted Christian civilians.
