Incident Summary:

12/15/2020: An assailant set fire to the Kantamanto marketplace in Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana. There were no casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities arrested a suspect, Daniel Dah Kormlah, who was active on a number of political platforms, including the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Renaissance Agenda 2020. Sources also noted that Kormlah had several conversations with other people about plans to attack state institutions and incite a riot.
