Incident Summary:

11/21/2020: Assailants opened fire a joint police and Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) team responding to a previous explosion in Al-Mashak, Saladin, Iraq. This was one of two related attacks in this area on this day. At least nine people, including security forces and civilians, were killed and nine others were wounded across the two attacks. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
