There were no reported casualties, but the blast resulted in a fire to oil hoses. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack. Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators.
