Incident Summary:
10/17/2020: Assailants attacked a joint Afghan Local Police (ALP) and public uprising checkpost in Dehqan Qeshlaq, Imam Sahib district, Kunduz, Afghanistan. This was one of five related incidents targeting security posts in Imam Sahib district overnight. At least eight people, including six uprising members and two police officers, were killed in this assault. In addition, at least 14 assailants were killed and injured across three of the attacks. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
