10/08/2020: Assailants opened fire on Ghazi Alikhan at his residence in Gilak, Amedi district, Dihok, Iraq. Alikhan, the head of security for the Sarzer border crossing, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which the group denied.
