08/12/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting the vehicle of Aref Jamal, the deputy for Taizz governorate, on al-Ajinat Street in Taizz, Yemen. Jamal was not harmed; however, at least one escorting soldier was killed and four people, including soldiers and civilians, were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
