Incident Summary:

08/12/2020: Assailants opened fire on a security checkpost in Tarin Kot, Uruzgan, Afghanistan. This was one of two similar attacks in Tarin Kot on the same day. At least four police officers were killed, four other officers were reported missing, and 13 assailants suffered casualties across both clashes. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
