07/22/2020: Assailants set fire to several houses, including the residence of a school head, in Banane, Garissa, Kenya. No casualties were reported in the attack. This was one of four related incidents in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab and stated that the victims were accused of sharing information with security forces.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
