Incident Summary:
07/22/2020: Assailants armed with rocket-propelled grenades and firearms attacked the border police camp in Yumbis, Garissa, Kenya. At least five assailants and one police officer were killed while an unknown number of assailants and three police officers were injured in the ensuing clash. This was one of four related incidents in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
