Incident Summary:

07/13/2020: Assailants attacked security posts in Kharah-e Asyab, Badghis, Afghanistan. At least 15 people, including 13 assailants and two soldiers, were killed while 17 others, including 16 assailants, were injured in the ensuing clash. In addition, three soldiers were taken hostage. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
