07/08/2020: Assailants set fire to heavy equipment at the Brustan Company quarry operation between San Miguel and Benguet in Echague, Isabela, Philippines. There were no reported casualties in the attack. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that it was carried out to punish the Brustan Company, whose quarry operation was considered "extremely detrimental to the livelihood of farmers."
