Incident Summary:

07/04/2020: Assailants attempted to recruit members of the muhamasheen minority community to fight and opened fire on them when they refused in Jurfayn, Amran, Yemen. Four people, including three civilians and one assailant, were killed and another civilian was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah) and Abu Ali al-Khawlani, a Houthi commander.
