Incident Summary:
07/03/2020: Assailants attacked Nduma Defense of Congo (NDC) positions in Butsindo, Masisi, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This was one of five coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. At least one civilian was killed and one was injured in the ensuing clashes that lasted for several days. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Alliance of Patriots for a Free and Sovereign Congo (APCLS) and the Nyatura Militia.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
