06/09/2020: Assailants attacked Foduma Kolomaiya, Gubio, Borno, Nigeria. At least 81 people were killed and 13 people were injured in the attack. In addition, seven people, including the village head, were abducted, and the outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. The Al-Barnawi faction (Islamic State West Africa Province-ISWAP) of Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the attack, and stated the villagers were sharing information with the Nigerian security forces.
