Incident Summary:

05/31/2020: Assailants armed with AK-47s raided the residence of Abubakar Atiku in Yantumaki, Danmusa, Katsina, Nigeria. Atiku, the Yanumaki district head, was killed and one of his guards was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
