05/28/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting a Somali National Army (SNA) vehicle along Awdhegle-K60 Road in Awdheegle, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. Five soldiers were killed. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that they would "continue attacking those who sabotage peace and stability" in Somalia.
