05/17/2020: Assailants attacked a security post at the Mes Aynak copper mine in Mes Aynak, Logar, Afghanistan. At least seven security guards were killed and five other guards were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
