Incident Summary:

04/26/2020: Assailants attacked the house of Talal al-Amsi, a tribal elder and district councilor, in Waleed, Al Anbar, Iraq. Two people, including one assailant and Al-Amsi, were killed and two relatives were injured in the attack. Al-Amsi's son was also abducted, and the outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
