04/19/2020: Assailants abducted the former minister of culture, Khaled Al-Ruwaishan, from his house in Sanaa, Amanat Al Asimah, Yemen. Al-Ruwaishan was released the following day on April 20, 2020. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).
