04/18/2020: Assailants abducted several people, including Reverend Anthony Oyi, from Issele-Mkpitime, Aniocha North, Delta, Nigeria. Oyi's wife and children were released shortly after the kidnapping, while Oyi and the remaining hostage were released on April 20, 2020, following the payment of a ransom. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Fulani extremists carried out the attack.
