04/07/2020: Assailants attempted to attack a military base in Gamboru, Ngala, Borno, Nigeria. At least two assailants were killed and an unknown number of other assailants were wounded in an ensuing clash with security forces when they intercepted the assailants. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram.
