04/07/2020: Assailants abducted eight civilians after a civilian had opened fire on them in Nahri Surkh, Balkh, Afghanistan. All of the hostages were killed shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
