Incident Summary:

03/02/2020: Assailants opened fire on Joseph Alicnas Calabson, a former village chief, in Tukucan, Ifugao, Philippines. Calabson was killed and his wife was injured in the attack. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out because the victim had been an abusive leader, had provided the government vital information, and had harbored government soldiers in his house.
