02/02/2020: An assailant armed with a knife and a fake explosives-laden vest stabbed civilians in Streatham neighborhood, London, England, United Kingdom. Two civilians were stabbed and injured in the attack before police responded, killing the assailant and injuring a third civilian. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources identified the assailant as Sudesh Amman and noted that he had previously pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Following the attack, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed that one of its "soldiers" carried out the attack and that the assailant answered calls to target civilians in countries that belong to the coalition fighting against ISIL.

Criteria 1
