02/01/2020: An explosive device detonated targeting the vehicle of Abdinasir Hassal Ali, the Kahda district deputy commissioner, near a market at Hosh road in Darkheynley neighborhood, Mogadishu, Somalia. At least two security guards were killed and two other people, including Ali, were injured in the blast. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
