Incident Summary:
01/18/2020: Assailants executed a civilian family in Khanaqa, Andkhoy, Faryab, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks in Faryab over one weekend. Six people, including an alleged former Taliban member and a child, were killed and two others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban, which denied involvement.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
