12/25/2019: Assailants raided a civilian residence in Qabr Umayr, North Sinai, Egypt. Three civilians were shot and injured, and one civilian was abducted in the attack. The hostage was killed sometime on or before January 15, 2020. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and accused the victim of collaborating with security forces
