12/22/2019: Assailants attacked Damaturu, Yobe, Nigeria. 31 assailants were killed and two soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
