12/14/2019: Assailants attempted to extort money from civilians in Villa Rey, Isabela, Philippines. One soldier was killed and two soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash with responding security forces. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People’s Army (NPA).
