Incident Summary:

11/12/2019: Assailants attacked Lucuamba, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. At least eight people were beheaded and an unknown number of residences were set on fire in the assault. This was one of two similar attacks in villages along the Tanzania-Mozambique border on the same day. The Central Africa Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and accused the victims of being spies for the Mozambican Army.
