09/24/2019: Assailants attacked Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkposts in Mata Khan district, Paktika, Afghanistan. At least one officer and 13 assailants were killed and another officer and seven other assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Taliban.
