09/25/2019: Assailants armed with rocket propelled grenades and firearms attacked a military convoy in Madamari, Borno, Nigeria. At least seven soldiers were killed and seven additional soldiers were reported missing. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the incident.
