09/02/2019: Security forces identified and intercepted assailants on their way to attack security checkposts in Shah Wali Kot district, Kandahar, Afghanistan. 16 assailants were killed and another 13 assailants were injured in the attempted attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
