09/02/2019: Assailants attacked the car of Karina Garcia, a Liberty Party mayoral candidate, in Betulia, Cauca, Colombia. At least six people, including Garcia, were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents.
