08/25/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting the vehicle of Khadija Iman Aynte, the Somali Army Hospital Director, in Hodan, Mogadishu, Somalia. Both Aynte and her driver were injured in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in this district of Mogadishu on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
